AbstraktAbstract

Digital Volume Correlation method is used to establish the spatial displacement and strain fields in a loaded sample of trabecular bone. The displacements are evaluated at the nodal points of underlaying FE mesh which is used to calculate the strains in each tetrahedral element. Precision of the method is evaluated using artificial image data.
