AbstraktAbstract

Spectroscopic chips VATA are multichannel chips dedicated to spectroscopy measurements with various types of detectors - silicon, scintillating etc. Each channel provides two signal paths, the first one generates trigger for following systems and the second one allows mesuring analog signal representing energy of the particle. The prepared prototype is made to drive the chip through USB. It is allowed to configure the chip from user software, change the measurement mode, process the trigger and readout the signal. The main part of the design is the FPGA. USB communication is covered by FTDI transfeiver. Chip power supply is fully provided.
