AbstraktAbstract

Double beta experiments need very low background set-up. A prototype using CuFlon PCB (printed circuit board) was produced for double beta experiments TGV and COBRA. CuFlon was identified as very clean material from intrinsic contamination. The prototype is composed of "up" and "down" chip carrier PCBs (PCB which holds the Timepix pixel detector) and forms a stack where the pixel detectors face each other. This prototype is being used in the experiment COBRA.
