AbstraktAbstract

The TGV collaboration has been investigating the use of pixel detectors in double beta experiments. The efficiency of detection improves if the detectors and the source foil forms a close geometry. A prototype using CuFlon and flexible PCB (printed circuit board) was produced to satisfy the low background requirement and special "sandwich" geometry. The prototype enables the detectors to be arranged very close to each other.
