AbstraktAbstract

The acquisition software for a mesh of Timepix3 detectors running either in a frame-based or a data-driven mode. Various operating systems (Windows, distributions of Linux, MacOS) are supported for the deployment. Data peaks expected in Run-3 and even the following Runs of LHC are balanced by adjustable buffers in the data flow, while a data compresion is the optional functionality. The hardware status is monitored by temperature sensing, bias measuring and autonomous noisy pixel detecting systems. The connectivity to CERN control systems is supported. The software successfully passed tests during Run-2. A modular based architecture enables easy extensions and future development.
