AbstraktAbstract

PEN – polyethylene naphtalate is commercially manufactured material with advantageous mechanical properties – tensile strength and elasticity modulus are comparable to those of copper at room temperature and also at temperature of liquid argon. PEN based detector shows scintillation properties and its radiopurity makes it suitable for low-background experiments.
