AbstraktAbstract
The original insulating-atmosphere gas system of a VdG accelerator, that used a mixture of N2, CO2 and a comparatively small addition of SF6, was replaced by a simpler SF6-only system. The new system allows reaching higher energy of accelerated particles and simplifies overall maintanence.
