AbstraktAbstract
VVI LSM-CZ zahrnuje i podpůrnou infrastrukturu v ČR. Toto řešení je velmi finančně efektivní a posiluje reciproční mezinárodní spolupráci ČR. Cílem VVI LSM-CZ je zajištění přístupu uživatelů z ČR i zahraničí do LSM prostřednictvím podpory vývoje, výstavby, údržby a provozování vědeckých aparatur a technologických zařízení umístěných v LSM, budování a podpora využití domácí infrastruktury v ČR v souvislosti s aktivitami v LSM, podpora zapojení českých pracovišť do nejmodernějších směrů výzkumu s důrazem na reciprocitu (získávání zahraničních pracovníků na domácí pracoviště), výchova mladých expertů a studentů, snaha o zapojení průmyslových firem z ČR do dodávek a splnění závazků našich institucí vůči jednotlivým experimentům v LSM (SuperNEMO, DAMIC-M, BINGO, Sedine&MIMAC). Získávané výsledky budou mít různý charakter, např. odborné články uživatelů, výsledky technologického výzkumu a vývoje, kvalifikační práce studentů, patenty či průmyslové vzory a funkční vzorky, pořádání konferencí a letních škol či získávání nových pracovníků do vědy a aplikačního výzkumu v ČR.
LRI LSM-CZ organizes and supports cooperation with the Laboratoire Souterrain de Modane (LSM), which is the unique deepest underground laboratory in Europe. LSM is a multidisciplinary platform for fundamental experiments requiring an ultra-low radioactive background in particle, astroparticle and nuclear physics, biology or medicine. LSM supports applied R&D, e.g. in detector technologies. Other specialized scientific fields have been significantly involved in the activities of LSM, e.g. research of ultra-sensitive detection methods of radionuclides in the environment (to increase safety of nuclear objects), radiobiology (examination of the behavior of cells in conditions of extremely low level of ionizing radiation), climatology or radioecology. LRI LSM-CZ includes also auxiliary infrastructure in the Czech Republic (CR). This solution is very financially effective and strengthens the reciprocal international cooperation. The objective of the LRI LSM-CZ is to enable access of Czech and international users to LSM by supporting the development, construction, maintenance and operation of scientific apparatuses and technological equipment located in the LSM, to support further development and use of the home infrastructure in the CR related to the activities within the LSM, to support the involvement of the Czech institutions in the most up-to-date research directions with an emphasis on reciprocity, training early stage experts and students, to support involvement of the Czech industrial companies in the delivery of progressive technologies and fulfilment of our institutions commitment to the individual LSM experiments (SuperNEMO, DAMIC-M, BINGO, Sedine&MIMAC). The obtained results will be of different types, e.g. users publication, results of technological R&D, student qualification theses, patents, industrial designs or functional samples, organizing conferences and summer schools or recruiting new experts for science and applied research in the CR.
