AbstraktAbstract

Hi-speed interface between USB and Medipix/Timepix detectors is designed for measurement control and data acquisition. The control is ensured by programable logic device, capable of reading 80 frames per seconds of a single Medipix chip The device contains: bias voltage power supply 5 - 100V, A/D and D/A converters for precision measurement parameters setting, power supplies capable of connecting 4 Medipix chips. The single detector chip may be powered solely from a USB port, for a multichip detector the external power supply of +5V is needed. The dimensions of 50x20x100mm3 allows easy manipulation during measurements.
