AbstraktAbstract
Výzkumný záměr integruje hlavní směry a pracoviště na ČVUT, zabývající se využitím ionizujícího záření a radionuklidů v energetické oblasti od jednotek keV (respektive u neutronů od tepelných energií) do řádu MeV. V souladu se soudobými trendy je hlavní akcent položen na studium různých materiálů a jejjich modifikace, tj. na analytické a jim příbuzné metody využívající ionizujícího záření a na radiační technologie. Do záměru byla začleněna i Laboratoř kvantitativních metod výzkumu památek, vzniklá v rámci projektu MŠMT VS 96052 a po skončení programu zahrnutá do výše zmíněného záměru. Z toho vyplývá důraz na využití záření pro účely archeometrie a studia památek s určitým přesahem mimo oblast ionizujícího záření k dalším fyzikálním metodám, zajišťujícím komplexnost studia konkrétního památkového objektu. Důležitým a tradičním směrem je také orientace metod, které jsou v rámci záměru rozvíjeny, do oblasti životního prostředí a medicíny.
The research plan integrates the main directions and laboratories at the CTU, dealing with use of ionising radiation and radionuclides in the region of energies from units of keV (thermal energies, respectively, for neutrons) to the order of MeV. In correspondence with the contemporary trends, the main accent is put on studies of various materials and their modification, i.e. on analytical and related methods using ionising radiation and on radiation technologies. The Laboratory of Quantitative Methods in Research of Ancient Monuments, founded in the project ot the Ministry of Education VS 96052 and after finishing this programme included into the research plan mentioned above, has also been integrated into the plan. This results in accent on application of radiation for archaeometry and monument care with certain enjambment outside the radiation methods to other physical methods ascertaining the complexity of investigations in the particular monument.
