AbstraktAbstract
USB interface is a device for data readout and acquisition control of MEDIPIX2 and TIMEPIX detectors. I is controlled by the single-chip microcontroller with integrated AD converters (used for monitoring of internal DA converters of Medipix2 detector, temperature, etc.). Whole device (including bias voltage of 5-100V) is powered via USB bus itself avoiding the external power supplies. Whole read-out system was designed with accent to maximum flexibility and portability (size of the whole device is 5x2x6.5cm). The Pixelman software package is used for whole measurement control.
