AbstraktAbstract
The device is a new version of the previously developed prototype hi-speed portable USB-2.0-based Timepix Interface. The physical dimensions have been substantially reduced from 50x20x100mm3 to 50x20x60mm3 by changing components and increasing the number of layers in the PCB. Moreover FITPix now contains new features: current and voltage monitors of the Timepix chip, huge variety of trigger modes for customization to a variety of experiments. The new device is also designed and capable to control and read the Medipix3 chip, the next generation of Medipix2MXR chip.
